Pursuing the Pork Profession

Iowa is in the middle of the country and at the heart of it is food production. It  ranks first for corn and second for soybean production. Iowa also leads the nation in hog production.

The Products We Make

Seaboard Triumph Foods is apart of a uniquely integrated system of companies, including Triumph Foods and Seaboard Foods. All products produced at STF are labeled under the Prairie Fresh or Seaboard Farms brand. One of our sister companies, Daily’s Premium Meats, receives our product to produce bacon - yum! All of these brands are part of our connected food system, from producing healthy hogs to responsibly processing pork to delivering quality pork to your family’s table. This connectivity gives us a competitive advantage to create the most sought-after products for our consumers.

Prairie Fresh, through the connected food system, manages every step of the process as a way of guaranteeing the best pork for you and your family. It feels good knowing where your pork comes from, where it’s been and why it tastes so good. The Prairie Fresh Brand is honest and transparent, producing consistent, tender pork and your family’s table. These high standards reach across the entire integrated system of companies, like Daily’s Premium Meats which is focused on producing the finest quality smoked and processing meats from honey-cured bacon to hickory-smoked hams. These products reflect our commitment to delivering the very finest pork possible.

How These Products Make a Difference

Not only do these products create jobs and help strengthen America’s agricultural industry, but they also help build Iowa communities as well. In Sioux City alone, we’ve supported Sioux City Public School Foundation, United Way of Siouxland, Foodbank of Siouxland, Habitat for Humanity, Iowa State Extension and Outreach of Woodbury County and more. One of our parent companies, Seaboard Foods, gives thousands of dollars in scholarship funds each year to students including  employees’ children.

Aside from financial support, our pork products support those who are in need of a hot, nutritious meal. We’ve donated hundreds of thousands of pounds of pork to Operation BBQ Relief (OBR) to help with disaster relief, like those in Florida reeling from Hurricane Michael, and to food banks, like #HamAcrossAmerica.

How Our Employees Help

Our company and its employees provide safe, quality pork that feeds families across the world. From our hog farmers to our processors, our employees help us evaluate how to do things better. They help set the standard quality, customer satisfaction and integrity. And their teamwork and communication allow us to achieve quality, wholesome pork responsibility.
