Celebrating 5 years of Seaboard Triumph Foods - It's a PIG Deal!

September 5, 2022, Sioux City, Iowa - After cutting the ribbon on the newly named Seaboard Triumph Foods (STF) Expo Center located in the old stockyards of Sioux City, hundreds of STF team members and their families gathered together inside on Saturday, August 27th, to celebrate five years of operations.

Throughout the fun filled day, attendees enjoyed free carnival treats and lunch, eight foot tall walking robots, bouncy houses, bingo, carnival games, face painting, caricature drawings, raffle drawings for over 100 prizes and bikes, obstacle courses, soccer, rock climbing, and a folkloric dance performance.

“Over the last year we expanded our roots withing the Siouxland community. STF will continue to demonstrate not only our commitment to the community, but our commitment to our highly valued team members, their families, and the future of STF,” said Vice President and General Manager, Frank Koekkoek Jr., while reflecting on five years of operations.

In addition to celebrating with all team members, those who had reached their five year work anniversaries also received a special jacket, a tradition that will continue on for all team members of STF.

“To see the growth of where we were during startup phase to where we are now with full programs and initiatives is very rewarding,” said Sr. HR Manager of Training and Organizational Development, Lindsey Luck, who joined STF before operations began.
