STF Honored with the Linda Scheid Legacy Award

Seaboard Triumph Foods is proud to share that we have been selected as this year’s recipient of the Linda Scheid Legacy Award from the Food Bank of Siouxland. This award recognizes an individual or organization that has demonstrated long-term commitment to supporting the Food Bank’s mission of fighting hunger throughout our communities—an honor we are truly grateful to receive.

For the past six years, STF has had the privilege of serving as the Presenting Sponsor of the Food Bank’s largest annual fundraising event. Beyond sponsorship, our teams have worked together to organize food drives, fundraisers, and direct donations to partner organizations. Through these efforts, we have contributed more than 15,000 pounds of product, along with thousands of essential non-perishable items—support made possible by the dedication and generosity of our employees.

“At Seaboard Triumph Foods, community is one of our core values,” shared Deanna Weidner, Vice President of Human Resources. “Our team members want to help feed the world because that’s what they do every day. We know what a good meal means and the impact it can have. On behalf of our 3,000 employees, thank you for honoring us.”

The Food Bank of Siouxland also recognized STF’s own Kelli Meister, Vice President of Finance, who is completing her service as an outgoing Board Member and Past President.

“I’ve been part of the Food Bank of Siouxland for six years, and it has been inspiring to watch the organization grow,” Meister reflected. “Seeing the team’s evolution, their increased community presence, and the impact of their work has made me proud to serve.”

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Food Bank of Siouxland for this meaningful recognition and to our employees whose dedication makes community involvement possible every day.
