Lotería, Trivia, and Traditions: Honoring Hispanic Heritage Month Together
This year, we celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a series of events designed to showcase the rich traditions and cultures of Hispanic communities. One event brought our team members together for a lively round of Lotería, the traditional Hispanic picture bingo game. Players took turns aiming to be the first to mark off all the images on their cards and shout “¡Lotería!” The competitive spirit was high, making for an exciting and memorable gathering.
Our next activity was Hispanic Heritage Month Trivia. The questions challenged our team members to reflect on their knowledge of Hispanic cultures and introduced them to new traditions that were both surprising and enlightening. The trivia categories include geography, music, cuisine, film, and cultural customs, sparking curiosity and friendly competition.
These events fostered a space for employees to connect and deepen their appreciation for Hispanic heritage. Additionally, many of our team members participated in a special tribute video for Hispanic Heritage Month. The video features interviews where they share what Hispanic Heritage Month means to them and how it shapes their lives.
