Volunteering At Goodwill's Shoe Party
This past Saturday, a group of STF employees joined forces with Goodwill and other community volunteers for the annual Shoe Party. A heartwarming event dedicated to helping children and families. The goal? To ensure kids from kindergarten through eighth grade have the essentials to stay warm and confident this season.
Our volunteers had the privilege of guiding each child as they picked out their very own pair of shoes, along with socks, hats, and gloves. For many of these kids, this was more than just receiving winter gear, it was about choice, independence, and the joy of finding something that truly fits their personality.
The most rewarding part of the day? Connecting with these amazing kids. Watching their faces light up as they tried on shoes, sharing stories, and hearing their laughter reminded us why giving back matters. These small moments created big smiles and lasting memories.
Partnering with Goodwill made this experience even more meaningful. Their dedication to supporting families and strengthening communities aligns perfectly with our values at STF. Together, we were able to make a real difference.
Events like this remind us that when we come together, we can create positive change, one pair of shoes at a time.
